Panel-Builder

Description

Panel-Builder allows the user to provide current stain results for a case, optionally rule-out diagnoses and limit the SEER incidence data to a specific sex and age group. The resultant panel presents both the most useful IHC stains to run and the differential at this point.

A couple things to keep in mind:

• Calculations take ~60 seconds. We are exploring several strategies to return results quicker.
• The resultant page with the panel has all the selections you made prior already selected. Use ctrl+click or command+click to modify the selections.
• You can generate panels based upon current stain results as well as potential future results. We are working on exploring this further and highlighting the next best 3/4 stains to run given the current differential.
• It is probably better to rule out diagnoses after reviewing the panel generated with just sex, age group and positive/negative stains.
• This is new; there will be bugs. Please let us know if you find any.

Instructions

1. Select patient sex
2. Select patient age group
3. Select any positive IHC stain results
4. Select any negative IHC stain results
5. Select any diagnoses to rule out
6. Click "Run"
7. Get a cup of coffee, results could take 60s
8. Review the panel
9. Add new stain results or rule out diagnoses (command+click or ctrl+click)
